MIAMI – A total of 46 student-athletes from FIU's men's soccer and swimming & diving programs were named to the American Conference All-Academic Team for the 2025-26 academic year, as announced Wednesday afternoon.
Men's soccer continued its tradition of academic excellence, boasting a 3.51 GPA during the spring semester, the second-highest among all FIU men's sports.
Swimming & diving also enjoyed a standout academic year, recording a 3.51 GPA in the spring. Additionally, the team was honored as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for the 16th consecutive year.
Nominations for the American All-Academic Team are submitted by each member institution. To qualify, student-athletes must have competed in an American-sponsored sport, maintained a minimum 3.00 GPA during the previous academic year, and completed at least two consecutive semesters (or three quarters), totaling a minimum of 18 semester (or 27 quarter) credit hours, excluding remedial courses.
