MIAMI– Volleyball's Jillian Huckabey was featured on Conference USA's preseason all-conference team, the league announced Thursday. This honor comes a season after she was named to the All-CUSA Second Team.

Huckabey, the Panthers' top returner under new head coach Flavia Siqueira, had a strong season for last season's 20-win squad, finishing second in kills (271) and digs (292). She had 14 games with double-figure kills, including a season-high 18 at Kennesaw State on Oct. 4. She had a season-high of 18 digs on Sept. 27 against Missouri State, and added eight double-doubles to her ledger, including a performance of 14 and 11 against WKU in the CUSA Championship match.

Huckabey, who will head into year three with 620 career kills and 568 digs, also finished the season close to the top from the service line, tallying 30 aces, with a season-high three four times. The Olathe, Kan. native added 27 total blocks on the year.

The outside hitter is the Panthers' second consecutive appearance on the preseason all-conference list, joining former teammate Mandi Morioka, who was in 2025. In addition, the Panthers were placed fifth in the preseason conference poll.

FIU will open its season on Aug. 28 in Boca Raton against Stetson.
