MADISON, Wis. — Women's golf opened up their season at the Wisconsin-hosted Badger Invitational, finishing tied for 11th out of the 16 competing teams.

Freshman Alisa Molokanova paced the way for FIU, ending her first collegiate tournament first on the Panthers and tied for 24th in the field with rounds of 74-74-74, netting nine birdies in her 36 holes played

A pair of juniors in Amandine Seguin and Catalina Harvey both tied for second on the team and 48th in the field, both ending the tournament +12. Seguin shot rounds of 78-73-77, while Harvey scored rounds of 76-76-76.

Gabriella Gomez ended fourth on the Panthers and tied for 69th in the field, shooting rounds of 83-74-76, while Manon Guille placed tied for 77th with rounds of 76-77-83.

The Panthers will be back in action at the Michigan State-hosted Mary Fossum Invitational From September 20-21 in Lansing, Michigan.
