LANSING, Mich. - Golf finishes play of round one of the Michigan State-hosted Mary Fossum Invitational on Sunday, placing ninth thus far.

Gabriella Gomez led the Panthers through the first 18 holes of the tournament, shooting a 77 on the par-72 course, good for 17th place in the field. Catalina Harvey and Alisa Molokanova were not far behind her, shooting a 78, good for a two-way tie on the Panthers and tied for 27th out of 81 golfers. Amandine Seguin and Manon Guille both shot +11, both of which tied for 64th.

What was supposed to be a 36-hole day one was cut short due to bad weather in the area. Round two will now be played tomorrow, with a third round still to be determined. FIU will tee off beginning at 10 a.m. ET.
