LANSING, Mich. — The FIU golf team finished play at the Michigan-State hosted Mary Fossum Invitational on Monday afternoon, placing tied-ninth of 15 competing teams.

Two Panthers tied for the team lead in Gabriella Gomez and Manon Guille, both also tying for 29th in the 81 golfer field. Gomez shot rounds of 77 and 80, while Guille paced her with rounds of 83-74.

Amandine Seguin ended third on the Panthers and tied for 52nd in the field with rounds of 83 and 77. Alisa Molokanova and Catalina Harvey both end shooting +19, tying for 60th in the field. Molokavona finished with rounds of 78 and 85, with Harvey shooting 78 and 85.

The third and final round of the tournament was canceled due to inclement weather in the area.

The Panthers will matchup at the Tennessee-hosted Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate from October 4-6.
