2010 (Junior): Played in all 13 contests as a reserve… registered 35 tackles, 22 unassisted, one interception and one forced fumble… had five tackles at Texas A&M (11/25)…. recorded four stops at Florida Atlantic (10/30)… had a season best six stops, five of them unassisted against ULM (11/6)…had two tackles apiece in games against Rutgers (9/11), at Maryland (9/25)… at North Texas (10/16)… at Louisiana (11/20), vs. Arkansas State (11/27), vs. Middle Tennessee (11/27) and against Toledo in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl (12/26), where he also forced a fumble… had his one interception against Louisiana.
2009 (Sophomore):
Played in nine games and finished first on the team with seven pass
breakups…had two tackles against Alabama (9/12)… made eight stops and broke up
two passes against Rutgers (9/19)… had a career-best 11 tackles against ULM
(10/3)… recorded two tackles against WKU (10/10)… had one stop against Troy
(10/17) and one against Arkansas State (10/24)… also had one interception
against the Red Wolves… recorded four tackles against Louisiana (10/31).
2008 (Freshman): Appeared in every game, primarily as a special teams player... registered 11 tackles, including three against FAU (11/29) in the Shula Bowl... had one tackle in games at Kansas (9/30), at Iowa (9/6), vs. USF (9/20), at North Texas (10/4), vs. Middle Tennessee (10/11), and vs. ULM (11/22)... registered two tackles at Louisiana (11/1)...recorded an interception vs. WKU (12/6).
Hillsborough High School: First Team All-Hillsborough County selection and a All-State Honorable Mention as a running back...Hillsborough County All-Star Game Offensive MVP...recorded 55 tackles, two interceptions and scored one touchdown on defense as a senior...also participates in track & field.
