Biography

2007 (Junior): Led the team in rushing for the second-straight year, producing the fourth-best single-season rushing total in FIU history with 581 yards on 143 carries (4.1 avg.)...scored two touchdowns rushing and one receiving...started nine of the 11 games he played in and caught 16 passes for 103 yards (6.4 avg.)...totaled more than half his season rushing total in the final three games of the season with 294 yards rushing (98.0 yds/game)...ranked second on the team in total offense...vs. North Texas (12/1): Led the team with 74 yards rushing on 17 carries, with a long gain of 30 yards...also caught one pass for minus-2 yards...vs. FAU (11/24): Had a touchdown rushing and receiving...ran 10 times for 68 yards, including a 32-yard touchdown scamper in the fourth quarter...also caught a 3-yard pass from Paul McCall for a touchdown in the fourth quarter...finished with 23 yards receiving on a season-high four receptions...vs. UL (11/17): Ran for a team season-high 152 yards on 20 carries, with a large chunk of yardage coming on a 60-yard touchdown run in the first quarter...also caught two passes for 20 yards...at Arkansas State (11/3): Had 15 carries for 48 yards and caught one pass for three yards...at Arkansas (10/27): Ran the ball 10 times for 23 yards...at ULM (10/20): Limited to a season-low 17 yards on seven carries...vs. Troy (10/6): Caught two passes for a season-best 35 yards, including a season-long 39-yard reception...also totaled 23 yards on 12 carries...at Middle Tennessee (9/29): Ran for 33 yards on 13 carries...at Kansas (9/22): Totaled 24 yards on 15 carries and had one reception for a yard...at Miami (9/15): Ran for 87 yards on 18 carries and caught one pass for 10 yards...vs. Maryland (9/8): Saw his first action of the season against the Terps and ran the ball a season-low six times for 32 yards...also caught three passes for 15 yards.

2006 (Sophomore): Leading rusher with 445 net yards on 94 carries for an average of 4.7 yards...ranked ninth in the Sun Belt averaging 44.5 yards per game...fifth leading pass catcher with 17 receptions for 141 yards...averaged 8.3 yards per catch...ranked second on the squad in total offense (44.5 yards/game) and in all-purpose yards (58.6 yards/game)...started five games, splitting time as the Golden Panthers featured running backs...put up career numbers with 169 yards and one TD on 16 rushes and another 56 yards on three receptions against Bowling Green (9/16)...longest run of 80 yards, the team’s longest of the season, came against the Falcons, as did his season-long 47-yard reception... rushed for 88 yards, including a long of 52 yards, at Maryland (9/23) and with 12 receiving yards, posted his second-straight 100-plus yard all-purpose yards game... scored his second touchdown of the year vs. Arkansas State (9/30)...caught five passes for 37 yards in the season finale against Troy (12/2).

2005 (Freshman): Played in the final six contests of the year with game starts in the final five...finished second on the team with 375 net yards on 88 carries and a 4.3 yards per rush average...also had 11 catches for 81 yards...picked up a career-high 79 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown against Western Kentucky (11/19)...scored three touchdowns on the year with a pair of scores in the season-finale come-from-behind win over Middle Tennessee (12/3)...season-long 46-yard run against Florida Atlantic (11/26) was FIU’s longest of the season...rushed for 51 yards on 16 carries with five catches for 39 yards in his collegiate debut at Troy (10/20)...his 62.5 yards average per game ranked third best for total offense.

Northeast High School: A four-year prep performer who played for head coach Adam Ratkevich...a two-time All-Broward performer and the county’s leading rusher who ran for 1,635 yards last season on 202 carries with 25 touchdowns...in his junior year at Flanagan High School, ran for 1,456 yards and 16 touchdowns...tallied 45 touchdowns over his prep career...named a MiamiDolphins.com Player of the Week (9/14/04).
