FIU Athletics

As a Junior (2009): Played in six contests, earning the start against St. Thomas (9/4) ... Helped FIU hold three teams to one goal or less, including a 2-0 shutout over Florida Atlantic (10/19).

As a Sophomore (2008):  Started all nine games he appeared in, including every FIU win in 2008... in his first game of the season, helped the defense shutout Florida Gulf Coast (9/28) in FIU's first victory of the season... helped the defense hold opponents to just two goals in FIU's other three victories... took two shots.

At Montreat College: Helped the Cavaliers defense hold opponents to just over one goal per game.

High School: Multi-sport athlete at St. George's also participating in water polo,  swimming, and track and field ... Represented St. Georges College on all levels of soccer, making the National High School finals four times.

Personal: Born on June 11, 1985 ... Son of Surrana and Elaine Smith ...Youngest of four siblings; two sisters and one brother ... Majoring in computer science and criminal justice.
