2003 (Redshirt Sophomore): Injuries defined the season, limiting him to just eight games, with one start coming against I-A Troy State (10/18)...when healthy, capable of making big plays...his 309 running yards for an average of 38.6 yards per game ranked second on the team in rushing and third for total offense...scored two rushing touchdowns, against Bethune-Cookman (9/20) and Jacksonville (10/30)...rushed for a season-best 121 yards against JU and also recorded his season-longest 51-yard run...teamed with Adam Gorman in that game to become the first FIU runners ever to put up dual 100-yard rushing games...had 15 carries against nationally-ranked Maine for 73 yards...at I-A Troy State (10/18), ran for 27 yards on six carries and caught three passes for 18 yards...caught seven passes on the year.

2002 (Freshman): A transfer from the University of Minnesota who impressed coaches in fall practices until an ACL tear ended his season.

Norland High School: Honorable mention all-state, all-county and all-conference selection for head coach Nigel Dunn...rushed for 1,167 yards with 11 touchdowns in seven games as a senior...also had 18 receptions for 149 yards and one score...had one touchdown run that went for 98 yards, the longest in Miami-Dade County in 2000...also competed in track and field and basketball.
