Junior Year (2012-13):
 
- First-Team NABC All-Region selection.
- First-Team All-Sun Belt Conference selection.
- Second-Team All-Sun Belt (College Sports Madness).
- Appeared in 32 games for the Panthers, starting in 31.
- Averaged 14.6 points-per-game and 6.8 rebounds-per-contest.
- Led the Panthers in both scoring and rebounding.
- Shot 57.3 percent (196-of-342) from the floor and 31.6 percent (12-of-38) from 3-point range.
- Led the conference and ranked No. 18 nationally in field goal percentage.
- Drained 196 buckets – the most all-time at FIU by a junior and third-most in school history (single season).
- Ranked No. 8 in scoring and No. 6 in rebounding in the conference.
- Registered 55 steals, ranking No. 4 in the conference in steals-per-game (1.7).
- Second on the team in assists (62).

Sophomore Year (at South Plains) (2011-12):
 
- Played and started all 36 games.
- Averaged 9.9 points-per-game and 6.6 rebounds-per-contest, leading South Plains to an undefeated season and the 2011-12 NJCAA National Championship
- Shot 57.3 percent (142-of-248) from the floor and converted 71.1 percent (64-of-90) of his attempts from the free-throw line.
- Scored in double-figures 20 times, including a pair of 22-point outings (versus Lamar State and versus Eastern Oklahoma.
- Notched five double-doubles.
- Grabbed 10-or-more rebounds six times, including a season-high 14 versus New Mexico Military.
 
Freshman Year (at Mohawk Valley) (2010-11):
- Played in 29 games for MVCC during the 2010-11 season, averaging a team high 16.5 points per game.
- Also led the team in field goal percentage, making 193-of-372 (.519) shots.
 
Prep and Personal Data:
 
- Graduated from Brooklyn Academy in 2010.
- Coached by Kenneth Fair.
- Averaged 26.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.78 assists-per-game.
- For his efforts was named MVP of the team.
- Off the court has served in internship positions at Young Minds daycare and at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

- Son of Nicole Murphy.

- Says his older Lamell is the best player he has ever played against.
