- Shot 10-of-12 for 23 points at North Texas (2/9) for his seventh 20-point outing of the season.
- Set a career-mark in steals (6) versus Florida Atlantic (2/7).
- Poured in 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds versus Middle Tennessee (1/31) for his seventh double-double of the year.
- Scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds at Louisiana (1/24) for his sixth double-double of the season.
- Recorded fifth 20-point game, scoring 22 versus North Texas (1/17), while tying a career-high in steals (3).
- Registered third-straight double-double, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds versus Bethune-Cookman (1/7).
- Scored a career-high 28 points and recorded a career-best five blocks to go along with 15 rebounds versus Louisiana (1/5).
- Became second player in FIU history (Carlton Phoenix - Feb. 23, 1987) to record 20 points and 20 rebounds in a single game, scoring a career-high 24 points and grabbing a career-best 20 rebounds versus Florida A&M (1/2).
- Had a then-career-high three steals at Middle Tennessee (12/29).
- Notched second double-double of the season, scoring 12 points and grabbing a career-high 12 rebounds at Louisville (12/19).
- Registered career-high nine assists at Stetson (12/9).
- Recorded first-career double-double, scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds versus South Alabama (12/1).
- Converted a career-best 9-of-10 from the floor to notch first-career 20-point outing, scoring a career-high 22 points versus Arkansas State (11/29).
- Also grabbed a then-career-high seven boards versus the Red Wolves.
- Shot 7-of-10 from the floor and recorded a then-career-high three blocks at Coastal Carolina (11/24).
- Scored a then-career-high 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting versus Stephen F. Austin (11/17).
- Made FIU debut at Boston College (11/11).
 
Sophomore Year (at South Plains) (2011-12):
 
- Played and started all 36 games.
- Averaged 9.9 points-per-game and 6.6 rebounds-per-contest, leading South Plains to an undefeated season and the 2011-12 NJCAA National Championship
- Shot 57.3 percent (142-of-248) from the floor and converted 71.1 percent (64-of-90) of his attempts from the free-throw line.
- Scored in double-figures 20 times, including a pair of 22-point outings (versus Lamar State and versus Eastern Oklahoma.
- Notched five double-doubles.
- Grabbed 10-or-more rebounds six times, including a season-high 14 versus New Mexico Military.
 
Freshman Year (at Mohawk Valley) (2010-11):
- Played in 29 games for MVCC during the 2010-11 season, averaging a team high 16.5 points per game.
- Also led the team in field goal percentage, making 193-of-372 (.519) shots.
 
Prep and Personal Data:
 
- Graduated from Brooklyn Academy in 2010.
- Coached by Kenneth Fair.
- Averaged 26.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.78 assists-per-game.
- For his efforts was named MVP of the team.
- Off the court has served in internship positions at Young Minds daycare and at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
- Born December 30, 1990 in Staten Island, N.Y.
- Son of Nicole Murphy.
- Has one brother, Lahmell, and two sisters, Latissya and Tykeisha.
- Says his older Lamell is the best player he has ever played against.
- Plans on playing professional basketball after graduation.
- Is majoring in liberal studies.
