As a Freshman (2013): Was a key contributor out of the FIU bullpen during his rookie campaign, making 16 appearances, tossing 22.1 innings while posting a 3.22 ERA…Allowed runs in just four of his 16 appearances…Did not surrender a run in his first five appearances, a seven-inning span…Struck out two in an inning of work in a 5-4 victory vs. USF (3/12)…Pitched 3.2 scoreless innings of relief in the Middle Tennessee series (4/19-4/21)… Struck out four over three innings of work vs. FAU (5/17).

Prior to FIU: Played four years for Archbishop McCarthy High School in Southwest Ranches, Fla…. Named second-team all-county as a junior and first-team all-country and Broward High School baseball first-team as a senior… Named a senior all-star… Hit .467 with nine doubles, seven triples, 28 RBI, 30 runs scored, 17 stolen bases and 42 hits as a senior… Three-time state champions (sophomore, junior and senior seasons)… Named team MVP his sophomore year and senior year postseason MVP… Was the team batting champion as a senior… Excellent off the field and in the classroom as a retreat leader and a member of the environmental club, salsa club, student government and Maverick zoo… Also recruited by South Carolina Upstate.

Personal: Born on June 10, 1994 in Pembroke Pines, Fla…. Son of Monika and Nicholas Morozowski… Has one brother Ryne, who is a catcher on the FIU baseball team… His father Nicholas played center field for Butler… Enjoys butterfly catching, sculpting, photography and video games… Majoring in sports management with aspirations to play professional baseball and run the family business.
