FIU Athletics

2013 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 games, making 11 starts…was second on the squad in receptions (24) and yards (307)…led the team with three touchdown receptions…averaged 12.8 yards-per-reception, the most of any player on the team that had at least 10 catches…tallied three-catch games in the first two contests of the season, including a 40-yard receiving effort vs. UCF (9/6)…set career-highs in receptions (6), receiving yards (125) and long reception (48) vs. Bethune-Cookman (9/14)…also caught an eight-yard touchdown pass from Jake Medlock in the second quarter vs. the Wildcats to tie the game up at seven…became the first FIU receiver since T.Y. Hilton (2008) to have a 100-yard game by his third career start…made a reception in the final eight games of the season…caught two passes for 31 yards in a victory at Southern Miss (10/5), including a 16-yard touchdown reception to put the Panthers up 21-16…made two catches for 30 yards and a 16-yard touchdown catch on a halfback pass play from Lamarq Caldwell at UTEP (11/16)…returned two kicks for 90 yards at FAU (11/29), including a 50-yard return.

2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in every game…saw action on FIU special teams…had five catches for 72 yards (14.4 avg.)…had a long reception of 45 yards in the season finale vs. ULM (11/24)…had his first career catch for four yards vs. WKU (10/27)…had a 10-yard catch at Florida Atlantic (11/16)…had a season-best three catches for 58 yards vs. ULM…had one rush, for two yards, at South Alabama (11/3)…recorded three tackles on special teams, including two at UCF (9/15).

2011 (Freshman): Redshirted the 2011 season.

Bay: Committed to FIU on Dec. 8, 2010…played wide receiver and cornerback…served as the Tornadoes’ team captain as a senior…set school records for receptions in both his junior and senior seasons…was a two-time First-Team All-Bay County selection in 2009 and 2010, as selected by area coaches…caught 55 passes for 598 yards as a senior…also rushed for 389 yards and scored eight touchdowns…caught 42 passes for 548 yards and three touchdowns as a junior, while running for 769 yards and another three touchdowns on the ground…defensively in 2009, registered 41 tackles and four interceptions...was a standout track athlete at Bay…competed in the 100, 400 and 4x400 events.

Personal: Parents - Terrance and Darnice Lowder...siblings - Terrance, Tyquai and Treshaun...born July 19, 1993...majoring in recreational sports management...cousins include: Southern Miss redshirt senior defensive lineman Khyri Thornton and Florida Atlantic redshirt senior wide receiver DeAndre Richardson.
