Junior (2012): One of two players to start all 30 matches for the Panthers … Led FIU in blocks (105, 1.00 bps), solo blocks (11), and block assists (94), and ranked second in kills (242, 2.30 kps) … Her FIU career-best nine blocks at Florida Atlantic (10/3) tied for the team’s best single-game performance of the year ... Also contributed an FIU career-best eight block assists against the Owls … Posted an FIU career-high three digs at then-No. 17 WKU (11/15) in the Sun Belt Conference Championship opening round … Recorded her first solo block in a Panther uniform versus Georgia (8/31) … Tallied 17 kills against Troy (11/9) to mark an FIU career best … Hit at a Panther career-high clip of .636 at Florida A&M (8/24), posting seven kills against zero errors in 11 total attempts … Had another stellar offensive outing the following week against the Rattlers (9/1), notching 13 kills while committing zero errors in 24 attempts  for an attack percentage of .542 … Earned the Coach’s Award at the 2013 FIU Athletic Awards Banquet.

Prior to FIU:  A four-year letterwinner in volleyball at Covenant Christian High School … Tabbed All-City Second Team and NCSAA First Team All-America as a senior … Named Most Improved as a sophomore and MVP as a junior … Registered 378 kills (5.18 kps) and 86 total blocks (1.16 bps) her senior year … Played two seasons at Robert Morris University-Illinois where she led the Eagles to the 2011 CCAC Championship … Enjoyed top-35 NAIA national rankings in hitting percentage, total blocks and blocks per game en route to 2011 first-team all-conference and Honorable Mention All-Region honors ...  Earned Best Offensive Player recognition in 2010 … A Dean’s List student at RMU … A member of the National Honor Society at Covenant Christian, where she graduated with honors … Also recruited by Purdue and West Florida.

Personal: Born July 18, 1992 … Daughter of Curt and Debbie Smith … Has two brothers, Stephen and Andrew, and one sister, Julie … Her brother, Andrew, is a member of the Butler basketball team … Her cousin, Pete Campbell, also played basketball at Butler and is now playing overseas … Enjoys reading, cooking and baking, and Butler basketball … Plans to major in hospitality and tourism with aspirations of becoming a wedding/event planner.
