2014 (Senior): Appeared in 15 games during his final season, starting in all 15 contests…Finished second on the squad in goals (3) and third in points (8)…Tallied his first point of the season on an assist on Quentin Albrecht’s game-tying goal in the 84^th minute against No. 25 Sand Diego State (9/19)…Scored his first goal of the year against South Carolina (10/8), while also adding an assist in the loss to the Gamecocks…Scored goals in his final two games of his career against Florida Atlantic (10/29) and at Old Dominion (11/7). 

2013 (Junior): Tied teammate Quentin Albrecht for the team lead with 16 points in his first season with the Panthers…Led FIU with seven goals scored…Also added two assists…Played in 16 of FIU’s 17 games, making 11 starts… Finished tied for seventh in Conference USA in goals scored…Scored a goal in his first career game in an FIU uniform at Loyola Marymount (8/30)…Scored goals in back-to-back games at UCF (9/5) followed by a two-goal effort at Florida Gulf Coast (9/7)…Tallied two goals in a 4-1 victory at Kentucky (10/26).

2012 (Sophomore at USF): Appeared in all 19 games... Led the Bulls in scoring with five goals on the season... Also had one assist to end the season with 11 points…Scored his first goal of the season in a 2-1 victory over Tulsa (9/2)…Scored the game-winner in overtime vs. Providence (9/22) in a 1-0 win…Scored goals in back-to-back games vs. Louisville (10/17) and at St. John’s (10/20).

2011 (Freshman at USF): Appeared in 11 games for the Bulls...Tallied three points with one goal and one assist…Earned his first career assist vs. Saint Louis (9/16)…Scored the game-tying goal with under two minutes remaining in regulation in a 3-2 overtime victory at Syracuse (10/15).

Prior to FIU:  Played for the Caracas F.C. and Estudiantes de Merida in the Venezuela Premier Division…Has also spent extensive time with Venezuela’s national program and was consistently part of its U17 and U20 national teams.

Personal: Born on August 31, 1990 in Caracas, Venezuela…Is the son of Alfredo Alterio and Ana T. Guzman-Blanco…Has one younger brother, Alejandro.
