Biography

As a Junior (2013): Appeared in 48 games during the 2013 campaign, making 31 starts in center field…Recorded six multi-hit games…Led the team with nine sacrifice bunts…Opened the season with a 2-for-3 performance with two RBI, one run and a stolen base vs. Stony Brook (5/16)…Began a four-game hitting streak with a 1-for-3 effort with two RBI vs. Manhattan (2/22)…Doubled vs. Texas Tech (2/26)…Reached base three times, including two hits, and scored two runs at Florida Atlantic (3/17)…Came off the bench to record a hit, stolen base and run vs. WKU (3/22)…Had one of his best games of the year vs. Arkansas State (3/31), going 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored…Doubled and recorded two hits to go along with a stolen base vs. Florida A&M (4/3)…Extend his hitting streak to five games, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and two runs scored against ULM (4/14)…Singled and drove in a run vs. Florida Gulf Coast (5/1)…Doubled and scored a run in the series opener at Troy (5/3)…Tallied two hits, including a triple vs. Jacksonville (5/7)…Went 3-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base and three runs scored at UALR (5/10)...Played summerball in the Valley League, where he was fifth in batting average (.333) and also stole 16 bases in 34 games...Was named to the All-Valley Second Team.

Prior to FIU: Played JUCO ball at Jefferson College in Missouri and at Unionville High School in Unionville, Ontario, Canada… As a freshman at Jefferson College, he hit .432 with 37 stolen bases, 13 triples, 12 doubles, 56 runs scored, 26 RBI, .504 OBP and 21 walks… Hit .352 with 23 stolen bases, 4 triples, six doubles, 57 runs, 27 RBI, .505 OBP and 36 walks as a sophomore… Named Conference and Regional Player of the Year as a freshman while being awarded the Rawlings Big Stick award for a .465 regular season average… Was also named a First-Team All-American… Two-time conference, regional and super regional champion (2010-11 and 2011-12) at Jefferson College… Was Jefferson College team MVP in 2011 as well as the team MVP for the Hutchinson Monarchs summer ball team… Played for the Ontario Blue Jays AAU team (2006-2010).
