FIU Athletics

2014 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in eight games, making seven starts between the pipes…Finished the season with a 2-4-1 overall record, allowing 13 goals (1.60 GAA), recording 42 saves, and posting one shutout…First career shutout came in the 0-0 draw at Elon (9/10)…Made seven stops in back-to-back games against FBCU (9/24) and UAB (9/27)…Recorded a career-high eight save at Old Dominion (11/7).

2013 (Freshman): Redshirt season. 

Prior to FIU: Joins the Panthers as a freshman goalkeeper from Kingston, Jamaica. A very diverse athlete, as he played five sports at Campion, including basketball, lawn tennis, track and field, swimming and soccer…As a soccer player, won championships with KASAFA U-17 and Cavalier SC U-17…Was also a member of the U20 and U23 Jamaican National Team.

Personal: Born on Feb. 2, 1993 in Kingston, Jamaica…Is the son of Alson and Sylvia Mitchell…Has five siblings, Meshach, Achsah, Samson, Joseph and Magdalene…Plans on majoring in Mathematics at FIU.
