2018 (SENIOR): Appeared in 12 games, making seven starts… Was part of an offensive line that only allowed a school-record low eight sacks all season, which ranked first in Conference USA and third overall in the nation… Absheer helped the FIU offense to a conference-best ranking in points per game (34.6), total touchdowns (58), total points (450), third-down conversion percentage (46.8), and fourth-down conversion percentage (65.2)… His contributions on the offensive line helped fuel a run game that accounted for 175.8 rush yards per game and 27 total rushing touchdowns, both of which ranked third overall in C-USA.
2017 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 13 games, starting every contest for the Panthers on the offensive line... Was a part of an offensive line that set single-season school records in passing yards (3,031) and first downs (269)... FIU gained 5,100 yards of total offense in 2017, which was just 37 yards shy of setting another school record...
