Biography

2017 (R-Senior at FIU): Played in 13 games and started 12 for the Panthers after transferring to FIU from NC State... Caught 27 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns... His 27 catches were the third-most on the team... Best game came in the win over WKU (11/24) as he caught three passes for a season-high 62 yards and a score... Caught at least one pass in 10 of the 12 games he played. 

2016 (R-Junior at NC State): In his first full season as a tight end, he blocked a fourth quarter punt vs. Notre Dame that was recovered and returned for the winning touchdown... Played mainly on special teams, he saw action from scrimmage in four contests.

2015 (R-Sophomore at NC State): Reserve defensive end who saw limited action... Moved to tight end before bowl practices and ended up catching an 82-yard TD pass in the Belk Bowl - the 11th-longest reception in school history.

2014 (R-Freshman at NC State): Former wide receiver who became a mainstay on the defensive line late in the season... Had one of the most exciting plays of the year at Syracuse when he dropped back in coverage, picked off a pass and rumbled 82 yards for a touchdown... That was the eighth-longest INT return in school history... Tallied two big tackles for loss and a 15 yard sack in the win at UNC.

2013 (Freshman at NC State): Redshirted the season at wide receiver... Moved to defensive end in the spring of 2014.

Prep Career: Played quarterback and safety for coach Jake Fonvielle... Team posted a 12-3 record his senior year, a 32-8 mark for his career and reached the state semifinals.
