2018 (Freshman): Appeared in 11 games, making one start... Simons recorded a total of two points in his first collegiate season, coming in the form of two assists…  In the first start of his FIU playing career Simons helped the Panthers get on the board early against USF (10/23) with a pass in the fourteenth minute that led to a goal by Jacques Bouvery… The assist was the first for the freshman and helped FIU defeat the Bulls by a score of 3-2… Simons also played a season high 79 minutes in a home game against South Carolina (11/2)… He recorded another assist in that game with a seventy-first minute pass that led to a goal by Inigo Sagarduy… Simons finished third on the team in assists (2)… He logged a total of 231 minutes on the season.

Prep/Club Career: Attended Krop High School in Miami … Played his club soccer with the Kendall U19 United States Soccer Development Academy team … Played in 16 games for Kendall while recording two goals … Was part of the team that participated in the 2018 USSDA playoffs.
