Freshman (2019): Appeared in 18 games, started four… Hit .357 with two home runs and five RBIs… Had 10 hits with a double for a .607 SLG%... Drew two walks… Accumulated a .400 OB%... Made his career debut against South Dakota State (2/22)… Recorded his first career hit against Miami (4/24)… Went 3 for 4 against UAB (5/5) with a home run and two RBIs.   

Prior to FIU: Played at Westminster Christian Academy... 2018 First Team All-County... 2018 4A-8 All-District Team... Batted .409 with ten doubles, six home runs and 25 RBIs. 

Personal: Son of Angela Battistini and Carlos Perez... Majoring in sports management.
