Biography

2019 (REDSHIRT SENIOR): Appeared and started in all 18 games, acting as an anchor for the Panther backline... Was an iron man for FIU, ranking second overall with 1,589 total minutes behind only goalkeeper Daniel Gagliardi... Logged 90-or-more minutes in 15 different games and logged a full 110 in five games... Was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week (9/23) after logging 200 minutes total in matches against UNF (9/17) and ODU (9/21), while helping FIU hold its two opponents to only one combined goal... Contributed to FIU's fourth overall C-USA ranking in the categories of goals allowed and goals-against-average... Helped FIU post five clean sheets, including a scoreless draw against No. 10 Charlotte (10/18), and a 3-0 rout of South Carolina in the C-USA Tournament Quarterfinals... Logged four points on the offensive side, including one goal and two assists... Fired away six shot-attempts with two of them on-goal... Was awarded C-USA  All-Tournament Team honors after his stellar play in the league tournament... Was named C-USA Co-Defensive MVP after his stellar season and received a spot on the All-CUSA First Team... Earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Southeast Region First Team... Became the eleventh Panther ever drafted in the Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft, after he was selected 57th overall in the third round by Orlando City SC... Was excellent in the classroom in addition to his efforts on the pitch, posting a 3.450 GPA... Was named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2018-19 academic year...Earned a spot on the USC Scholar All-America First Team.

2018 (SENIOR): Appeared and started in one game for the Panthers before redshirting for the season… Finished the campaign with two points, coming on a single goal… His score came in the fifty-third minute of a match against No. 10 ranked Duke (8/24) at the John Rennie Nike Invitational… O’Callaghan equalized the score with a header off a free kick by Joris Ahlinvi… The goal marked the first score of the 2018 campaign for the Panthers… O’Callaghan’s two points in the Duke match marked a game-high.

2017 (JUNIOR AT ELON): Appeared and started 16 games for the Phoenix in his final season with Elon ... Had two assists during the season and took 13 shots with four coming on target ... Had two assists versus Northeastern (10/14).
 
2016 (SOPHOMORE AT ELON): Played in 14 games with 13 starts ... Scored one goal with a pair of assists for four points ... Had 20 total shots during the season with nine coming on target ... Scored a goal versus UNC Asheville on (8/26) ... Had assists at College of Charleston (9/10) and at No. 24 Radford (9/17).
 
2015 (FRESHMAN AT ELON): Appeared in 19 matches, starting 15 of those contests ... Named the CAA Rookie of the Week on Sept. 21 after scoring his first career goal and tallying his first career assist in Elon’s 3-1 victory over Drexel ... Helped the Phoenix backline to a CAA-best nine shutouts on the year ... Took seven total shots on the year with two coming on target.
