Made his career-debut against Pepperdine on 3/1 pitching a scoreless inning with two strikeouts. *Canceled due to COVID-19 Outbreak*

Freshman (2019): Redshirted. 

Prior to FIU: Played at Somerset Academy... Named 1st team All-District and 2nd team All-County... Had an 11-2 record with 85 strikeouts and a 1.77 ERA.

Personal: Son of Joao Teixeira and Ana Maria Martinez... Brother of FIU outfielder Juan Teixeira... Majoring in sports management.
