Junior (2016): Played in nine games, started two...Hit .273 with a double and three RBI.

Prior to FIU: Played junior college ball at LA Mission College where he hit .331 with 4 HR & 32 RBI last season...Hit .352 with 7 HR & 43 RBI in 2014...Named league MVP in 2014 and 1st team all-league in 2014 & 2015...In 2014, earned 1st team All-Pacific Association and Big Stick Award...Played high school ball at Hart High in Newhall, Calif...Made 1st team All-Foothill League in junior and senior high school seasons...Recruited by San Diego, Miami, Florida Atlantic and Texas A&M.

Personal: Born Oct. 5, 1995...Son of Robert and Mona Witkowski...Father, Robert is currently a VP for Disney Broadcasting and played for the Toronto Blue Jays; Mother, Mona is an aerospace engineer...Has an older brother, Robbie...CJ stands for Carl James...Majoring in criminal justice.
