As a Freshman (2013): Made nine appearances during his rookie campaign, including two starts…First career appearance came on Feb. 20 at Bethune Cookman, allowing no runs and one hit in 2/3 of an inning…Struck out three batters over 3 1/3 innings of work at South Alabama (4/5)…Struck out the side in an inning of relief at Middle Tennessee (4/19)…Allowed two hits and no runs in 3 2/3 innings against Florida Gulf Coast (5/1)…Made first career-start vs. Jacksonville on May 7, scattering eight hits and four earned runs over 6 1/3 innings…Put together a quality start against Florida Atlantic on May 17, allowing two earned runs over six innings…Pitched 1 2/3 innings of no-hit relief vs. UALR in SBC Tournament (5/23).

Prior to FIU: Played for Head Coach Jared Goodwin at Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Fla. where he was named second-team all-conference his junior and senior seasons… He was also named Hagerty Pitcher of the Year during his junior and senior seasons.
