2025 (Senior): Pitched in 16 games, made two starts…threw 32.1 innings with 35 punchouts, posting a 1-1 record…tied a season-high of three scoreless innings with four strikeouts vs Miami (3/4) at loanDepot park…punched out a season-high of five batters in 2.2 innings in season debut vs Stonehill (2/14)…fired four strikeouts in three innings on no runs vs Merrimack (2/28) in 4-3 win…threw 2.1 no hit outing at Florida Atlantic (3/8)…struck out two batters in 2.1 innings vs Bucknell (3/14)…gave up one run over three innings in the 11-4 win vs Jacksonville State (3/23) in the start…started at Florida Gulf Coast (4/15) , allowing one earned run…registered 2.2 innings on two earned runs and a strikeout in the 7-5 win vs No. 17 Western Kentucky (4/27)…added a scoreless frame vs Bethune-Cookman (2/19)…gave up one run over 1.2 innings at Middle Tennessee (3/29) in 6-5 win.

2024 (Junior): Made 18 appearances, including five starts on the mound...threw 32.1 innings with 31 strikeouts and two wins...pitched a season-high four innings with four strikeouts in the win at Florida Gulf Coast (4/2)...struck out a season-high of five batters in 3.1 innings vs Dallas Baptist (4/27)...allowed no earned runs in 2.2 innings vs Notre Dame (2/25)...pitched 2.2 innings vs Seton Hall (3/4) with four punchouts....threw two innings of no earned runs in his start at Miami (3/19)...added 1.1 innings of no hits and runs at Miami (5/8) in the win...gave up no runs in 1.1 innings in a scoreless affair with two strikeouts.

2023 (Sophomore): Made nine appearances and one start for the FIU … Pitched 9.1 innings and punched out 13 batters … Punched out three in two innings of work against FAU (4/29) … Pitched two innings and struck out a career-high five batter against UTSA (4/22).

2022 (Freshman): Appeared in 17 games in his first season with the Panthers, pitching 18 innings, registering 26 strikeouts and one save … Registered three strike outs in one inning pitched in a win against Bethune-Cookman (4/26) … Pitched a season-high four innings, struck out three batters and picked up the save in a win over Marshall (3/19) … Struck out a career-high four batters in a 20-inning marathon against Jacksonville (3/13) … Made his FIU debut and registered his first career strikeout  in victory over St. Thomas (2/20).

Prior to FIU: Played at Bloomingdale High School… Ranked the 168th best left-handed pitcher nationally by Perfect Game… Ranked the 207th best overall player in the state of Florida and the 17th best left-handed pitcher by Perfect Game… Helped Bloomingdale to the 2021 Florida High School 6A State Championship.
 
Personal: Son of Jessica and Richard Eckaus… Majoring in Liberal Studies.
