2010 (Sophomore): Utilized his redshirt season... Played for the Covington Lumberjacks in the Valley Baseball Summer League.

Prior to FIU: Played four years under Tom Duffin at Pace High School in Miami, Fla.... In 2009, his senior season, was named First-Team All-Dade and Third Team all-state with an 8-3 record, 2.05 ERA and 110 strikeouts... Spent one season at Barry University playing for Head Coach Marc Pavao.

Personal: Born March 27, 1991 in Miami, Fla.... Son of Ed and Martha Pidermann... Has two sisters, Michelle and Jennifer... Majoring in business... Has aspirations of owning his own business... Enjoys the beach and spending time with friends and family... His cousin Peter was a safety at Dartmouth from 2007-2010... His cousin, Conner Vernon, is a wide receiver at Duke (2009-present)... Was recruited by FAU and Stony Brook.
