Prior to FIU: Played two seasons at Miami Dade College under Head Coach Steve Hertz... Named First Team All-State in 2010, hitting .374 with four home runs, 31 RBI, 13 doubles and a triple his sophomore season... Attended Southwest High School in Miami, Fla.

Personal: Born February 13, 1988 in Miami, Fla.... Son of Isamel Leon and Zoila Iglesias... Plans to pursue a career as a professional baseball player... Enjoys sleeping, watching movies and eating in his spare time... Majoring in sport management.
