2024 (Redshirt Sophomore): Made 16 appearances, while starting in 15 games on the bump....struck out 53 batters in 57.2 innings with two wins...threw a career-high of 6.2 innings, allowing one earned run and struck out five in the win vs Seton Hall (3/3)...pitched five no-hit innings with six strikeouts in a 10-5 victory vs Notre Dame (2/24)...struck out a career-high of eight batters at Jacksonville State (4/6)...pitched a scoreless frame in relief in the 9-7 win at Miami (5/8)...posted six innings of work, giving up one earned run with four strikeouts vs Dallas Baptist (4/27)...made his season debut vs Long Island (2/17), allowing one earned run in three innings.

2023 (Redshirt Freshman): Made four starts for the Panthers … Pitched 7.1 innings, striking out nine batters and only walking two … Threw three innings against No. 11 Miami (5/16), striking out three … Started and threw two scoreless innings and struck out three batters at No. 11 Miami (5/10) … Pitched two scoreless innings and struck three in a, 7-6, road win against Bethune-Cookman (5/3) …  Made his return from injury and FIU debut against Florida Gulf Coast (3/22).
 
2022 (Freshman): Did not appear for the Panthers due to injury.

Prior to FIU: Played at Westminster Christian Academy… Ranked the 239th best overall player in the state of Florida and the 76th best right-hander pitcher in the state by Perfect Game.
 
Personal: Son of Shirley and Joel Pinerio… Majoring in Communications… Father, Joel, played 12 years in Major League Baseball with the Mariners, Red Sox, Cardinals and Angels.
