2014 (Junior): Played and started 56 games at third base...Finished second on the team with a .300 average and second on the team with 66 hits...His 18 extra base hits tied for second on the team with Edwin Rios...Hit 13 doubles and 5 home runs...Led the team with 43 RBI...Accumulated 94 total bases...His .802 OPS was second on the team to Aramis Garcia's .1068 OPS...Opened the season 7 for 14 with 5 RBI against Rutgers...Went 4 for 5 with 6 RBI against Stony Brook (2/23). The 6 RBI were a team season-high...Was 6 for 7 with 5 runs scored and 3 RBI against Florida Memorial (2/25)...The 7 at-bats, 6 hits and 5 runs scored against Florida Memorial were team season-highs...Had 3-hit games against Dartmouth (3/2), Charlotte (3/8), Old Dominion (4/4)...Was 5 for 12 against Florida Atlantic (4/18-20)...Was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI against St. Peter's (4/27)...Third on the team with 18 multiple-hit games.

2013 (Sophomore): Appeared in 58 games, making 58 starts, primarily at third base…Became a key middle of the order contributor to the Panther lineup, hitting .279 with 7 homeruns, 42 RBI and a team-best 22 doubles…Finished fifth in the conference in doubles…Was also successful on all five stolen base attempts…Tallied 21 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI games…Was one of only two FIU players on the squad to put together a five-RBI game…Earned the Sun Belt Conference Home Run Derby Title…Opened the 2013 campaign with one hit in each of his first four games…Bolstered his slugging percentage in a 4-for-5 effort vs. Manhattan (2/23), roping three doubles, a homerun and driving in three runs…Homered and drove in three runs while going 2-for-5 against Texas Tech (2/26)…Followed that up with a three-run shot against SEC foe Mississippi (3/1) three days later…Collected three hits at Stetson (3/6)…Closed out the Rice series with two doubles, two runs driven in and a run scored (3/10)…Had a big two-game set against USF (3/12-3/13) where in total he went 4-for-8 with two RBI and two doubles…Closed out the first of two FAU (3/17)series with two hits, one RBI and a stolen base…Stole a base for the second consecutive game, to go along with two hits against Western Kentucky (3/22)…Began a 10-game hitting streak on March 24, with the peak of it coming vs. Arkansas State (3/31), going 3-for-6 with a home run, double and five RBI…Closed out the 10-game streak with back-to-back two-hit games vs. Florida A&M (4/3) and at South Alabama (4/5)…Tallied another set of back-to-back two-hit games at South Alabama (4/7) and vs. ULM (4/12)…Went 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and one run scored at Middle Tennessee (4/19)…Drove in two and homered in the first game of a doubleheader against Florida Gulf Coast (5/1)…Went 2-for-5 with a homerun and three RBI at UALR (5/10)…Collected three hits in FIU’s SBC Tournament opener against Louisiana (5/22)…Closed out the Tournament with three hits and a double against South Alabama (4/24).

Prior to FIU: Played junior college ball at Yavapai in Prescott, Ariz., and Poway High School in Poway, Calif…. At Yavapai (2010-12), he was a First-Team All-ACCAC and Second-Team All-Region I… As a freshman, he hit .364 with 56 hits, 17 doubles, 33 RBI and a home run… Was named the No. 7 JUCO prospect by Baseball America in 2011 before an injury cut his sophomore season short… Was tabbed at the No. 1 MLB prospect of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League in the fall of 2011… At Poway HS, he was all-league and all-CIF all four years while being named first-team all-state and All-American Honorable Mention in 2009… Hit .406 with six home runs as a sophomore, .479 with seven home runs as a junior and .434 with seven home runs as a senior… He was a part of the 2008 and 2009 CIF championship team and runner-ups in 2010… Also played football and wrestled in high school… AAU 9-U, 10-U, 11-U and 12-U National Champion…  Also recruited by Missouri State, Auburn, San Diego State and UCLA.

Personal: Born on November 4, 1992 in San Diego, Calif…. Son of Christina Nichols and Stan Anderson… Has five siblings: Jacob, Caitlin, Gina, Kristin and Aaron… Enjoys surfing, playing ping pong, reading, playing with his dog and going to church… Majoring in liberal studies… Aspires to find a career where he can share his experiences and help people.
