Junior (2020): Appeared in four games as a pitcher, started all four... Was 2-1 with a 2.45 ERA... Pitched 25.2 innings allowing seven earned runs, 41 strikeouts and a .183 BAVG... Won the C-USA Pitcher of Week for the week of 2/24 for his seven-inning one-hit 13 strikeout performance against George Mason on 2/23... Tied a career-high in strikeouts with 13 against George Mason on 2/23... Had three games of 10 or more strikeouts... Allowed three or fewer earned runs in all four starts... Appeared in 10 games, starting seven mainly as a DH... Hit .286 with one home run and two RBIs... Had four hits and not walks for a .286 OB%... Only multiple hit game of the year came against Penn on 3/7... Lone home run of the season was hit against Pepperdine on 3/1... Was named C-USA Preseason Pitcher of the Year... Sophomore (2019): Appeared in 14 games as a pitcher, started 14… Was 4-6 with a 3.11 ERA… Pitched 84 innings allowing 29 earned runs, 120 strikeouts and .231 BAVG… 120 Ks is the seventh most by a Panther in a single season and most since Willie Collazo’s 148 in 2001… Compiled a 12.9 strikeouts per nine innings rate, which is the third highest ever by a FIU pitcher… Tossed 32.2 innings without surrendering an earned run (2/22-3/29)… Won three C-USA Pitcher of the Week Honors (3/11, 3/25 & 4/15)… Had six games of 10 or more strikeouts… Set a career-high with 13 Ks against Southern Miss on 4/12… Allowed three or fewer earned runs in 12 of his 14 starts… Named Collegiate Baseball’s National Player of the Week (3/11)… Appeared in 39 games, started 31 in the field… Hit .276 with three home runs and five RBIs… Had 21 hits, three doubles for a .434 SLG%... Drew one walk and was hit by four pitches… Accumulated a .321 OB%... Freshman (2018): Named Freshman All-American by three different outlets: NCBWA, Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, Perfect Game. Also named to All-Conference USA Second Team as a Utility Player and to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team...Appeared in 13 games as a pitcher and started 12. Was 5-5 with a 3.89 ERA and had a team-leading 85 strikeouts. The 85 Ks rank second on the FIU freshman strikeouts list...Pitched 74 innings, allowed 74 hits, 32 earned runs and walked just 16...Compiled a 10.34 strikeouts per nine innings rate which broke the FIU freshman record held by David Mittauer (10.17 in 1998)...FIU won five of his first six starts. During the stretch Allen was 4-1 and struck out 41 batters in 34 innings pitched...Helped FIU clinch a berth in the C-USA Championship after pitching eight shutout innings in an 8-4 win over WKU (5/13). Named C-USA Pitcher of the Week (5/14) for the performance...At the plate, hit .309 with 2 HR, 16 RBI. His first collegiate home run was a pinch-hit HR to help defeat UTSA (4/20)...In the WKU series was 7 for 10 with 2 doubles, HR and 3 RBI.

Prior to FIU: Played at University High in Orange City...Named 2017 Florida Gatorade Player of the Year...Three-time Daytona Beach News Journal Player of the Year and two-time Spectrum Player of the Year.

Personal: Son of Douglas Allen and Caron Pamela Sadowski...Brother, Hunter played baseball for Mervyl Melendez at Alabama State (2014-16) and is now the the assistant softball coach at FIU... Majoring in criminal justice.
