Biography

Freshman (2021): Appeared in 15 games, starting three mostly at designated hitter… Hit .176 with zero home runs and one RBI… Had three hits with a double and a triple in 17 at-bats… Drew two walks and was hit by a pitch for a .300 OB%... Made his FIU debut against Miami (OH) on 2/27 with a double in his first AB after being a defensive replacement… Drove in his lone run on the season against Charlotte on 4/9.

Prior to FIU: Played at Keys Gate Charter High School… Ranked the 65th best third baseman nationally by Perfect Game… Ranked the 157th best overall player in Florida and the eighth best third baseman in the state by Perfect Game.
 
Personal: Son of Evelyn and Marino Hernandez… Majoring in Sports Management.
