Sophomore (2018): Appeared in three games, started none. .Was 0-0 with a 5.40 ERA... Pitched 3.1 innings allowing four hits with two earned runs and four strikeouts... Pitched two innings allowing one hit, no runs, one walk and one strikeout against FAMU (2/28).  

Prior to FIU: Played at Westwood Christian where he hit .360 with 4 HR...Attended Shorter University in Rome, Ga. in 2016.

Personal: Son of Jairo Acevedo and Azurena Salinas...Sister, Sandy played softball at FIU in 2007...Brother, Jairo played baseball at Bethune-Cookman...Majoring in finance.
