Redshirt Junior (2021): Appeared in 16 games, staring one… Was 2-0 with a 9.00 ERA… Pitched 24.0 innings allowing 24 earned runs with 29 strikeouts and a .340 BAVG… Lone start of the season came at Old Dominion on 3/28… Was credited with his first win of the season on 2/20 against UIC for a scoreless 10th inning… Tossed five innings of one-run with four strikeouts against No. 14 Louisiana Tech on 5/7 for his second win of the season.

Junior (2020): Appeared in four games, starting all four.... Was 1-1 with a 1.17 ERA... Pitched 15.1 innings allowing two earned runs with 13 strikeouts and a .233 BAVG... Collected his lone win of the year against Fordham on 2/16 going five scoreless innings of one-hit ball with one strikeout. Struck out five in 3.2 innings of work against George Mason on 2/23. *Canceled due to COVID-19 Outbreak*

Sophomore (2019): Appeared in 27 games, started none… Was 0-3 with a 2.89 ERA… Pitched 28 innings allowing nine earned runs with 29 strikeouts and a .208 BAVG… Collected his lone save of the year against Jacksonville State (3/1)… Led all Panther bullpen arms in appearances (27)… Struck out three over four innings of work against UAB (5/4)… Only allowed one earned run over his final ten innings of work on the year.

Freshman (2018): Appeared in eighteen games, started one... Was 1-2 with a 4.00 ERA... Pitched eighteen innings allowing eight earned runs and 23 strikeouts... Had two appearances with four strikeouts... Pitched two innings allowing one hit, no earned runs, no walks and four strikeouts against Rice (5/18)... 2018 C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Prior to FIU: Played at Lake Highland Prep where he also played basketball for three years and football for two years...Recruited by North Florida, Wingate and Virginia.

Personal: Son of Brad and Denise Saxton...Nickname is "Tank"...Sister, Amanda played volleyball at Florida State and brother, Michael played basketball at Florida State...Majoring in sport management.
