2004 (Junior): Steady performer with great toughness...good understanding of the team's offensive system...a solid blocker...hobbled by a hamstring pull for most of the season...appeared in 10 games but rushed only 15 times for 56 yards and caught 11 passes for 86 yards and one touchdown...as an up-man on the kickoff return team, fielded eight kicks and picked up 59 yards...most complete game of the year came in the opener against Youngstown State (9/11) when he rushed nine times for 45 yards, caught four passes for 30 yards and ran back a kickoff for 10 yards...caught another four balls at Louisiana-Monroe (10/16) for 20 yards...also rushed the ball three times for three yards against the Indians...ran back a pair of kickoffs in back-to-back games at New Mexico State (10/30) and versus nationally-ranked Georgia Southern (11/13)...caught two passes at Florida Atlantic (12/4), good for 21 yards...made three special teams' tackles (two unassisted).
2003 (Sophomore): Named as the team’s Offensive Player of the Year after opening the season as a back-up fullback before injuries over the course of the season made him the featured running back...ended the year as the team’s leading rusher with 736 yards and eight touchdowns...had three of the team’s four 100-yard rushing games of the season...just missed five-straight 100-yard games by a total of nine yards...named to the first-team All-Independent squad...had three touchdowns on 187 yards in the win over Jacksonville (10/30)...that was the second-highest single-game rushing total in FIU history to that time...teamed with Diamos Demerritt against JU to become the first Golden Panther tandem to rush for over 100 yards each in the same game...caught 22 passes for 234 yards and one touchdown...recorded 980 all-purpose yards on the season, an average of 89.1 yards per game, best on the team and fifth best among the I-AA Independents...as the up-man on the kickoff team, took one kick and returned it for 10 yards against nationally-ranked Georgia Southern (10/4)...important member on special teams as the up-back on punts.
2002 (Freshman): Played in 10 games and made four tackles (two solo) on special teams and recovered a fumble, returning it 35 yards against national champion Western Kentucky...caught two passes on offense, one for 17 yards and a touchdown against Georgetown (9/28) and the other for an eight-yard gain against Jacksonville (10/31).
St. Petersburg Catholic High School: A four-year starter and an all-academic team nominee for head coach Dan Mancuso...first-team All-Pinellas County and honorable mention all-state...rushed 71 times for 477 yards (6.1 yards per carry) with 11 touchdowns as a senior...capable receiver with 27 catches, good for 497 yards and two TDs, an average of 18.4 yards per reception...also played outside linebacker on defense when necessary, and made 15 tackles...over four years for the Barons, recorded 1,500 rushing yards, another 1,100 yards in the air and had 34 touchdowns...an outstanding prep baseball player...named all-county in baseball all four years with 21 home runs, 124 RBI and a career .335 batting average...played two seasons of AAU baseball with his team finishing third at the national tournament...earned team MVP honors in both football and baseball as a senior.
