2023: Saw action in nine games and made one start as a running back…finished season with 33 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries…also ran back one kick for 21 yards…opened season with 17 yards and first career rushing touchdown at Louisiana Tech (8/26)…added 16 yards on five carries vs. Maine (9/2).

2022: Redshirt season…saw action in two games…tabbed 40 yards on nine carries and caught one pass…averaged 4.4 yards per attempt…tabbed 33 yards on seven carries at North Texas (11/5)…added seven yards on a pair of attempts vs. Florida Atlantic (11/12).

Prep: Posted 1,387 all-purpose yards and scored 19 touchdowns in leading Oakland High School to a perfect 15-0 record and a state championship in 2021… as a junior, he ripped off 1,440 all-purpose yards – including 1,242 on the ground and 18 touchdowns… the Patriots also finished with an unblemished 15-0 mark in 2020 and captured the first of back-to-back Tennessee 6A state championships…runs with a high motor and consistently has shown the ability to beat defenders on the edge… is both strong and possesses a burst, which helped him earn the region's running back of the year award and all-region status… an all-around athlete, Patterson also played free safety for the Patriots and forced three turnovers in 2021.
