2013 (Redshirt Senior): Played on special teams…appeared in two games, vs. Bethune-Cookman (9/14) and on the road at Louisville (9/21).

2012 (Redshirt Junior): Played on special teams…appeared in two games…played against No. 18 Louisville (9/22) and on the road at Troy (10/20).

2011 (Junior): Redshirted the 2011 season.

2010 (Sophomore): Played on special teams in three games…played on the road at Texas A&M (9/18), at North Texas (10/16) and vs. Toledo (12/26) in the Little Caesars Bowl…walked on to the FIU football program.

2009 (Freshman): Saw action playing special teams in three games…played on the road at No. 4 Alabama (9/12), at Middle Tennessee (11/7) and at No. 1 Florida (11/21).

Miami Senior: As a senior, recorded 70 tackles, one interception, four sacks and two fumble recoveries...a versatile high school football player, who played wide receiver, defensive back, kick and punt returns, and outside linebacker…also participated in track, where he competed in the long jump, 100 and 200 meter sprints, and 4x100 relay events…in 2008, advanced past the districts to regionals in the 4x100 relay.

Personal: Born October 20, 1989...son of Willie Weatherspoon and Evelyn Bell...has three siblings; Anthony, Shantell and Alex.
