2023: Saw action in 12 games and made one start at defensive back…finished season with 21 tackles (10 solo)…tabbed a season-best four tackles in three consecutive games (Jacksonville State, 10/25; at Middle Tennessee, 11/11; at Arkansas, 11/18)…posted at least one tackle in eight of 12 games played.

2022 (at Temple): Transitioned over the summer from safety to wide receiver where he provides depth...earned special teams developmental player of the week (Tulsa)...made his college debut vs. Rutgers ...saw action exclusively on special teams until getting some wide receiver snaps vs. No. 22 Cincinnati.
 
2021 (at Temple): Joined the team as a walk-on in the summer...redshirt season…named special teams scout team player of the week (Rutgers)...named scout team defensive player of the week (Wagner, ECU)...did not see game action.
 
Prep: Two-year letterwinner at American Heritage School of Delray Beach/Boca under head coach Henry Colombi…as a senior, made all-state second team and all-county first team as a defensive back…also played baseball.
 
Personal: Born Robert Joseph Salla in Boyton Beach, Fla.…parents Caren Davis and Bob Salla…sister Olivia...father Bob was a football captain at Temple (1977) and graduated as the school's all-time interception leader…list of favorites include: Avengers: Endgame (movie), Last Chance U (TV show), Tyrann Mathieu (pro athlete).
