George Frazier

George Frazier is entering his third season supervising the Panthers' defensive line in 2023 after joining the staff last season following a two-year stint in the same role at UT Martin.

Frazier helped a dynamic UT Martin defensive unit rank among Ohio Valley Conference leaders in third down conversion defense (29.3 percent, first), blocked kicks (6, first), scoring defense (22.0, second), red zone defense (72.7 percent, second), fourth down conversion defense (37.5 percent, third), first down defense (116, second), team tackles for loss (7.7, second), total defense (330.9 ypg, third) and rushing defense (128.9, third).

Prior to his role at UT Martin, Frazier held graduate assistant positions at both Memphis and Ole Miss.  He was also defensive line coach at Monrovia High School (Calif.) in 2018.

Frazier enjoyed a stellar playing career at the University of Colorado where he was the Buffs' first two-way player since 1964.

The three-time captain at the University of Colorado, where he played DE and TE, played 506 total plays with 266 on offense, 147 on defense and 93 on special teams during senior year.

During his tenure with the Buffs he garnered numerous accolades including Daniel Graham Award for Most Improved Big Skill Player, Eddie Crowder Award for Outstanding Team Leadership, Dick Anderson Award for Outstanding Toughness and Jim Hansen Award for Outstanding Academics.

Frazier graduated with a bachelor’s degree in ethnic studies from Colorado in 2016.
