Wisly Desire joined the FIU football coaching staff in 2019 as a graduate assistant, the Jacksonville native helped with the Panther front seven before moving over to assist with the offensive line in 2020.Â
Desire comes to FIU after a stop at Monroe College from 2015-19, after coaching the offensive line and assisting as the run game coordinator. Desire was also an academic advisor and placement coordinator at Monroe College.Â
Before his stop at Monroe, Desire was a graduate assistant at Lock Haven University from 2013-14. He assisted with offensive line in his first year, before moving over to coach the tight ends.Â
Desire played offensive line collegiately at Jacksonville University from 2009-13, helping lead the Dolphins to a top offensive ranking and finish 22nd in the final polls in 2010.Â
Desire graduated from Jacksonville University in 2013 with a bachelor's in sport management, before earning his master's in sport administration from Lock Haven University in 2014.Â
