2007 (Freshman): Played in all 12 games, starting the first two of the season...ended the season with seven tackles, three of which went for total losses of 19 yards... led all freshmen on the team with 2.0 sacks for 18 yards...also broke up two passes...vs. North Texas (12/1): Broke up one pass...vs. UL (11/17): Recorded one solo tackle for a loss of a yard...at Arkansas State (11/3): Was in on two sacks, totaling losses of four yards...vs. Troy (10/6): Broke up one pass...at Middle Tennessee (9/29): Made one solo tackle...at Miami (9/15): Had one solo tackle and a quarterback hurry...vs. Maryland (9/8): Started and recorded his first career sack for a loss of 14 yards...at Penn State (9/1): Had one solo tackle in his collegiate debut...made his first collegiate start.

Spruce Creek: Orlando Sentinel second team All-Central Florida selection, first team All-Volusia County, Honorable Mention All-State, team captain and Central Florida All-Star...rated as the nation’s No. 82 defensive tackle by ESPN.com...played left tackle for Spruce Creek and graded out at 92 percent for the season while allowing only two sacks...also played defensive end and posted 47 tackles and 5.5 sacks...three-year starter...also a member of the school’s weightlifting team...competed in the shot put and discus on the track and field team.
