Biography

2003 (Redshirt Junior): Played in 10 games, mostly in the two tight-end formation and was a factor on special teams...recovered a fumble on the punt team in the season opener at Indiana State (9/7), which led to FIU's only TD in the game...Honor Roll student for spring 2004.

2002 (Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in 10 games with one catch, a 4-yard reception against Elon (9/7)...made one tackle (solo) on the year against Florida Atlantic (11/23).

2000 (Fordham University): Member of the Rams' scout team who was also a representative in the Student Government Association.

Plantation High School: Played four years of football for coach Frank Hepler, helping the Colonels to three-straight district and regional championships...finished among the top-20 percent of his graduating class...an amateur bowler who was a three-time division champion.

Personal: Born November 26, 1981...son of Monrow Monroe and Willie Blake...Accounting major.
