2004 (Junior): Dependable team player who knows the system and has made the most of his opportunities...played quarterback in three games, none more effectively than in the opeener at Youngstown State (9/11) when de directed three touchdown drives and helped the Golden Panthers to an overtime victory and their first-ever road victory...completed 15-of-22 passes that day for 174 yards with no interceptions...ended the season with a 131.64 passing efficiency rating, completing 17-of-28 passes for 190 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions...completed his other two passes of the season at New Mexico State (10/30)...wasn't sacked on the year and rushed twice for 13 yards...important member of special teams as holder on PATs and field goals.
2003 (Sophomore): Saw action in all 12 games with his first career start coming against nationally-ranked Maine (9/13)...attempted 17 passes, completing 11, with two touchdowns and no interceptions...connected on his only two passes of the game for 19 yards and a touchdown against Jacksonville (10/30)...tossed a 3-yard scoring pass wersus nationally-ranked Georgia Southern (10/4)...completed a season-high four passes (on five attempts) for 52 yards against Carson-Newman (9/27), with a long pass of 21 yards...Honor Roll student in the 2004 spring.
2002 (Freshman): Capable back-up who played in all 11 games, coming off the bench each time...threw for 539 yards and six touchdowns against just three interceptions...his longest completion on the year was a 66-yard TD to Cory McKinney against Florida Atlantic (11/23)...in that game, subbing for an injured Jamie Burke, Tabor completed 15-of-30 passes for 200 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions...also hooked up with McKinney for a 54-yard pass completion against nationally-ranked Maine (10/19)...tossed his first career TD pass to Harold Leath, a 23-yard connection, against Elon (9/7)...finished the season with a passing efficiency rating of 125.10...ranked third on the team with 43.2 yards of total offense per game...sacked 10 times on the year.
Poincina High School: FIU's first-ever verbal commitment...a first-team All-Osceola County quarterback for head coach Mike Cullison...also named district Player of the Year and was a four-time Player of the Week...completed 132-of-266 passes (49.6-percent) for 1,918 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior in 2000...19 pass interceptions...during his three-year prep career with the Eagles, completed 414-of-822 (.504) for 5,765 yards and 57 touchdowns, both of which were county records...ran four years of track, played three seasons of basketball and a season of soccer at Poincina...established a new school record with a discus throw of 165 feet.
