Biography

2007 (Redshirt Junior): Played in six games, starting one, against Maryland (9/8)...also played against Penn State (9/1), Miami (9/15), Kansas (9/22), Troy (10/6) and at ULM (10/20).

2006 (Redshirt Sophomore): Gained valuable experience as one of three offensive line members to start all 12 games of the season...manned the right tackle position.

2005 (Redshirt Freshman): Offensive tackle and long snapper who appeared in three games on the season...saw action on the road at Texas Tech (9/10), versus Florida A&M (10/1) and against Florida Atlantic (11/26).

2004 (Freshman): Member of the scout team and did not play in any games.

Lincoln High School: Four-year letter winner for Lincoln coach David Wilson...2003 All-Big Bend Team honorable mention and a three time offensive lineman of the week...member of Lincoln’s 2002-03 District 2 4A champion squad.

Personal: Born July 30, 1986...son of Donald and Jean Gibson...has four brothers; Matt, Cody, Donnie and David...chose FIU over interest shown by Clemson, Duke, Alabama, UCF, UNC, Tulane and Middle Tennessee...son of Donald and Jean Gibson...business management major.
