2008 (Junior): Appeared in 10 games, earning nine starts at tight end...caught 14 passes for 157 yards and two scores...opened the season at Kansas (8/30) by catching two passes for 21 yards...had one reception for 18 yards at Iowa (9/6)...caught one ball for seven yards vs. USF (9/20)....made one catch for 22 yards at Toledo (9/27)...scored his first touchdown as a Golden Panther on an 11-yard catch in the back of the end zone at North Texas (10/4)... caught two balls for 15 yards at Troy (10/18)...also had two solo tackles vs. the Trojans...caught a career-best three passes at Louisiana (11/1), racking up 26 yards...made two catches for a career-high 37 yards vs. Arkansas State (11/8)...was also heavily involved in the running game as a blocking tight end.2007 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 games, starting 11...caught five passes for 49 yards (9.6 avg.)...returned two kicks as an upback, totaling 38 yards...recorded three special teams tackles, all on punt coverage...started but did not have a reception in the last four games of the season...vs. UL (11/17): Caught a squib kick on kickoff return and nearly broke through the defense for a return of 34 yards...also made one tackle on punt coverage...at Arkansas (10/27): Caught a career-high two passes for 21 yards, including a career-long 16-yarder...vs. Troy (10/6): Had one reception for 12 yards...at Kansas (9/22): Made a 13-yard reception...at Miami (9/15): Caught one pass for three yards...vs. Maryland (9/8): Returned one kickoff for four yards...at Penn State (9/1): Made his collegiate debut and recorded two tackles on punt coverage.

University of Miami: Spent two years working with the Hurricanes’ scout team...suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee late in 2006 spring practice and missed the 2006 season

Walther Lutheran High School: Played both tight end and defensive end...Selected All-State as a defensive end as a senior when he made 30-plus tackles, nine sacks and 16 tackles for a loss...Also led the team in receptions as a tight end with seven touchdowns and seven receptions for 40-plus yards.
