Biography

FIU Notes: Junior eligible who will be used as a back-up linebacker and on special teams...involved in five tackles over three spring scrimmages after transferring to FIU over the holiday break.

 

2000 (Freshman): Played in nine games at West Virginia State making four tackles (two solo), one of those forced a 3-yard loss.

 

1999 (Redshirt): Spent the season as a member of the West Virginia State scout team.

 

High School: Played three seasons of football at Miami Edison for coach Curry Bell.

 

Personal: Born 4/6/79...son of Fertilen and Ann Mertil...Therapeutic Recreation.
