Biography

2013 (Senior): Redshirted the 2013 season.

2012 (Junior): Saw action in 11 games, starting four…started in the season-opener at Duke (9/1), at Troy (10/20), vs. WKU (10/27) and at South Alabama (11/3)…caught 13 passes for 227 yards with a long of 33 yards…had a 17.5 yards-per-catch average...two touchdown catches…caught his first pass of the season, an eight-yarder, at Louisiana (9/29)…had a career-night vs. Middle Tennessee (10/13) with a career-high five catches for 115 yards and one touchdown…along with teammate, Willis Wright (109 yards vs. MT), was only the third time in program history two players had 100 yards receiving in a single game…caught three passes for 73 yards and a touchdown at Troy…vs. the Hilltoppers, totaled two catches for 14 yards…in the Shula Bowl at Florida Atlantic (11/16), had two catches for 17 yards.

2011 (Sophomore): Played in 11 games, starting eight…had 14 catches for 128 yards and one touchdown…started the season with two catches for 21 yards vs. North Texas (9/1)...had two catches for nine yards vs. UCF (9/17)...pulled in a season-high four catches vs. Louisiana (9/24), for 29 yards...had three catches for 27 yards vs. Troy (10/25)...had a season-high 39 receiving yards and one touchdown at ULM (11/19).

2010 (Freshman): Appeared in nine games, making one catch for eight yards against Middle Tennessee (12/4).

West Jefferson: Rivals rated him the No. 79 receiver nationally as a senior, as well
as the No. 22 player on their Louisiana Postseason Top 50 list…was a two-time All-State, All-District and All-Metro selection in Class 5A, Louisiana largest classification of schools, as a senior and junior…2008 and 2009 Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 5A All-State First-Team…2008 and 2009 Louisiana All-District 5A-9 Football Team...2008 and 2009 New Orleans Times Picayune Big Schools All-Metro Team…Times Picayune’s Top 20 Blue Chip prospect…No. 32 on NewOrleans.com’s Fabulous 50 list…earned three stars from the Rivals...played for Marcus Scott...as a senior, had 75 catches for 1,000 yards...as a junior, caught 64 passes for 923 yards and 10 touchdowns in 11 games, and also scored on a 90-yard kickoff return...as a sophomore, caught 30 passes for 740 yards...also ran track, in the 200 meters, finishing No. 6 at the Louisiana Class 5A State meet in 2010…also ran in the 400-meter relay...was an All-Metro track selection.
