Biography

2003 (Redshirt Junior): Leading receiver with 42 catches, good for 741 yards and three touchdowns...averaged 17.6 yards per catch and his 61.8 yards per game ranked 85th among all receivers in I-AA...a second-team All-Independent selection for the second-consecutive year...played in all 12 games and caught at least one pass in 11 of them...set a school record with 192 yards on eight receptions against nationally-ranked Georgia Southern (10/4)...also grabbed six passes in games vs. nationally-ranked Maine (9/13) and Florida Atlantic (11/22)...recorded three catches for 69 yards and two touchdowns against Jacksonville (10/30)...one of only two Golden Panthers with more than 1,000 career receiving yards.

2002 (Redshirt Sophomore): Second-team All-Independent performer and a favorite target of both quarterbacks Jamie Burke and David Tabor...second-leading receiver on the squad with 34 catches, including a season-high six grabs vs. Gardner-Webb (10/26)...scored 36 points on the season, the third-most points on the team...owned the two longest catches of the year: 69 yards vs. Jacksonville (10/31) and 68 yards against Elon (9/7)...scored six TDs on the campaign, two of those vs. Elon...his 141 yards receiving against the Phoenix were the most by any FIU wide receiver that year...averaged nearly 16.5 yards per catch...caught at least one pass in every game and had as many as six receptions in contests against Gardner-Webb and Albany (11/9)...The Sports Nework ranked him fourth among all No. 2 receivers in Division I-AA.

2000-01 (West Virginia University): Spent two years as a member of the Mountaineers' scout team.

Wharton High School: Played three seasons of football and basketball and ran track for two years...an all-county performer and twice named MVP of the football team for head coach Richard Woods...caught 45 passes for 900 yards and 11 TDs for the Wildcats...played free safety and returned punts and kickoffs...all-county, leading scorer and team MVP in basketball averaging 13 points per game...winner of the Hustle Award in track...received Wharton's Most Athletic Award...honors student...member of Interact and Senior Clubs...played AAU basketball.

Personal: Born March 26, 1981...son of Harold Leath, Sr. and Ava Drisdom...uncle Dewayne Drisdom was a starting strong safety in football at Florida A&M...Business major.
