2020: Played and started in four of FIU's five games... All starts came on the defensive tackle... Earned 19 tackles with 12 being solos... Also earned 3.5 tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry... His 19 tackles tied for the seventh-most on the team, while tying for the most by any defensive lineman in 2020... The 12 solo tackles were the most by any defensive lineman on the team... The 3.5 tackles for loss ranked second on the team... Best performance came against Middle Tennessee (10/10) after earning four tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry.

2019: Played in 10 games as a true sophomore... Earned 15 tackles on the year, with 11 being solos... His 15 tackles ranked seventh on the team among defensive linemen... Also earned a pair of sacks, tackles-for-loss and QB hurries as well on the year... Earned a season-high four tackles at Tulane (8/29)... Earned a sack against UMass (10/5) and Marshall (11/30).

2018: Appeared in 13 games at defensive end… Mercier recorded 31 total tackles throughout the season, including 13 solo tackles, 18 assisted, and one tackle for loss… He also logged one fumble recovery… Mercier’s 18 assisted tackles were second-most among FIU defensive linemen and fifth-most on the team… He had at least one tackle in 10 of 13 games… Mercier had a season-high seven tackles and recovered a fumble against Miami (9/22) … He also had six tackles against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (9/29) … Mercier was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team following the season.

PREP CAREER: Three-star prospect out of Atlantic HS in Boynton Beach, Florida... Had a total of 29 collegiate offers... Earned 62 tackles, 11 sacks and six forced fumbles as a senior.
