Biography

2010 (Redshirt Junior): Appeared in three games, earning a start at right guard against Maryland (9/25).

2009 (Redshirt Sophomore): Did not see action in any games.

2008 (Redshirt Freshman): Did not appear in any contests as he worked with the scout-team offense.

2007 (Freshman): Participated on the scout team during his redshirt year.

Sylmar High School: All-Valley Mission League selection and team captain as a senior...compiled 32 tackles and 6.0 sacks over eight games...despite playing primarily in goal-line situations as a tight end, ranked second on the team with 86 receiving yards on three receptions...also played basketball as a senior...chose FIU over interest shown by schools including Washington and Washington State.

Personal: Born October 14, 1988...son of James and Linda Wiggins...has an older brother and sister...majoring in education.
