2002 (Junior): Came on as a leader, not only on the field but also in the locker room...excellent special teams player...big hitter from whom more good things are expected this season...came back from a knee injury and made his first FIU appearance off the bench against Butler (9/14)...forced a fumble and made seven tackles (four solo) vs. the Bulldogs...recorded his season-high 10 stops (eight solo) the following week against nationally-ranked Bethune-Cookman (9/21)...despite playing in just nine games overall, finished fourth on the team with 50 tackles (31 solo)...led the Golden Panthers with nine tackles (six solo) in the season finale against Florida Atlantic (11/23)...forced a team-best four fumbles, two of those against nationally-ranked Maine (10/19)...involved in two tackles for losses.
2001 (Sophomore): Played in four games for national champion University of Miami with six solo tackles on the season before tearing his knee against West Virginia University and sitting out the rest of the year.
2000 (Freshman): Battled back from a torn pectoralis muscle suffered while summer weightlifting.
1999 (Redshirt): Spent the season as a member of the UM scout team.
Northwestern High School: Listed as the No. 10 linebacker on PrepStar Dream Team Top 100, and No. 3 in the SEC Region...also selected to the Super 30 All-SEC Region by PrepStar...SuperPrep’s No. 43 player in Florida...named first-team Class 6-5A all-state and all-county as a senior...Florida’s No. 6 outside linebacker of 1998 on the Florida Times-Union Super 75...helped Northwestern to the 1998 Class 6A state title...led team with 110 tackles, 26 sacks, five fumble recoveries and returned one fumble for a score...collected 15 sacks during his junior season playing at defensive end...coached by Billy Rolle.
